Tina Tam is a Vancouver based Costume Designer. She is currently a Costume Designer with IATSE 891, but she started by designing several short films and music videos. Tina found her way to costuming for film and TV after needing a change from the fashion industry. She helped out on a short film as a costumer and realized this was what fulfilled her desire to work with clothing and textiles as a medium. Creating characters through costumes and finding creative ways to deeply tell a story through details is what she finds exciting. She continues to learn and experience life as a way to understand people and personalities to apply that into her work.
